I wish New York City buses paid more attention to traffic laws.
I wish the Long Island Railroad realized a train “running thirty-two minutes late” is a train that nobody in their right mind is waiting for when they have to get to work.
I wish I knew why my subway was so empty this morning (and a little bit this afternoon). Was today some kind of holiday?
I wish I hadn’t needed to sit through a two-hour training session on the new user interface for one of our internal systems. But at least that interface does seem like a genuine improvement.
I wish I could sleep late tomorrow and not worry about my commute, or buses that run red lights, or trains that don’t come, or training sessions that eat up the afternoon.
Oh, wait, I can. Tomorrow I work from home. I do so like Tuesdays.
