I’m not going to say that the research I talked about doing yesterday was all for naught, because it wasn’t, but a lot of it had already been done by marketing, unbeknownst to me, and it’s actually sort of difficult in just half a day to pull together any meaningful data on which schools and psychology or counseling departments offer psychopathology courses. (The answer to that question, if you’re wondering, is “all of them.” Plus a lot of social work, education, and educational psychology departments. It’s kind of an important course.)
And I’m not going to say that the weather was horribly nasty, because it wasn’t, at least not past the morning, and it was all rain instead of snow. We had a light dusting way back in October, but I’m really wondering if it’s going to snow again at all this winter. In years past, it’s been a question of how much, not if ever.
I’m just going to say this: I’m glad it’s a three-day weekend. Can you believe it’s been two whole weeks since I was last on vacation? Sheesh!
Oo – don’t forget the neuroscience and addiction studies departments, either!
It’s another holiday in Americaland? Or are you taking a well-deserved vacation day?
From what I’ve seen, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were English and History departments offering psychopathology courses. There are a lot of instructors to market it to.
And Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Much as I’ll enjoy it, I’m not sure how “well-deserved” the vacation day is. I have only just returned after sixteen days off.
Yes, but those first days back from vacation are the hardest.
