Studios to start charging for 3-D glasses? Even with the movies that I thought made genuinely good use of 3-D — Avatar, The Cave of Forgotten Dreams — I could have ultimately done without it.
Though maybe it’s time to look again at Thud’s reasons for leaving Facebook. I send my Twitter feed there, though mostly because I have friends who claim to not like or be confused by Twitter. (This in itself confuses me, since it’s always seemed like the much less complicated and much more straightforward service.) But I mostly use Facebook as nothing more than a Scrabble delivery system, and every time their privacy policy changes (which is like every other week), I sidle a few steps closer to the door.
