I hadn’t seen that particular video version before. That’s kind of awesome. My initial thought was that the ASL translation seems to lack the corporate-speak that makes the song so funny, but on second thought, the guy’s expressions actually convey that humorous tone contrast really well, so maybe it does translate.
I think I’d seen this version before, but never really paid attention to the subtitles. I’m really glad they included the ASL translation, since it was interesting to compare that to what Coulton was singing. I agree, the guy in the video is really what sold it.
