Just an average Friday here in New York. I caught a slightly earlier train this morning, having for some inexplicable reason woken up early and not fallen immediately back to sleep, and so I’m actually a little tired right now. I have an early-ish start of it tomorrow, making a quick visit to Washington, D.C., to celebrate my sister’s birthday (which is actually next Tuesday), so I think sleep might be called for soon.
Which is good, because other than “y’know, I’m kinda tired,” I don’t have a lot to report right now.
Wow. I wish my commute were as scenic (I think I said this yesterday, but your blog ate the comment).
Well, strictly speaking, that’s not my commute but actually a half-mile or so walk uptown from my office. I don’t pass that spot too often, although the Waldorf Astoria (which you can’t really see from that angle, but which is just across the street from what you can see) is a yearly location for one of our psychoanalysis conferences.
If I walk a half mile from work, I can go and see a bank. And a Harvey’s. And a gas station. So you still win.
(and if I go in three different directions, I can find three different Mormon temples.)
