How can I increase my subscription base for Kaleidotrope? Where can I send copies of the zine for review (with at least some small chance of success)? Don’t assume I’m already doing something or that your idea won’t work. Any thoughts?

Warren Ellis is asking for zines: http://freakangels.com/whitechapel/comments.php?DiscussionID=3218
Oh cool, thanks! I saw a post about zines on his weblog this morning, but I don’t really follow the Whitechapel boards.
Email Neil Gaiman! (seriously – tons of people ask him to promo stuff).
Have you tried The Fix?

GUD also does reviews:

I’ve sent two copies of every issue to Eugie Foster, first at Tangent Online, then The Fix. Nothing so far, but I live in hope. I really like their reviews and set-up, and I’ll definitely send a copy of the next issue to them as well.
Thanks for the GUD link. I’ve had a little bit of contact with Kaolin Fire, on their staff, recently through Tor.com, and I need to pick up a copy of the mag just on general principles. (It looks interesting.) I’ll contact them about sending review copies.
