An odd sort of week

The day took a turn for the sunnier when the meeting I thought I was going to have to be in the office next Tuesday to take notes for got cancelled. Meaning I get to work from home that day after all, which makes me happy. It’s amazing how quickly I’ve grown accustomed to being able to sleep instead of commute. (Although working from home really does require some self-imposed structure to keep yourself on track. Then again, structure’s easier to manage when you’re better rested.)

Beyond that, the day went by about as expected. There’s at least one other meeting I do have to be in the office for next week, and a bunch of projects in development that need finessing. But overall it was kind of a slow day, and the end of sort of a weird week.

But it’s the weekend, which is always nice, however often it comes around.
