It’s weird how, at the end of the day, I ended up exactly where I was at the end of yesterday: driving the dog to the vet.

He has this ear infection, one he’s had pretty much his entire life, off but mostly on. We’re trying this new treatment, which is apparently throwing lots and lots of money at the problem and doing so every single day this week.

No, in all seriousness, it’s for a series of injections that we’re bringing him in every day, hoping this will finally get rid of the nasty organisms living in Tucker’s ear canal. (At the last culture, about a month ago, it was a lovely mix of E. coli, strep, and pseudomonas.) My mother brought him to the vet on Monday, which is when they hit upon this solution, and I’ve brought him both days since.

Tucker, on the other hand (er, paw) would just as happily stay home.

My own day was pretty much nothing out of the ordinary. Lots of work, lots of talk about what our competitors are doing, that sort of thing.

Tuesdays have been a little weird ever since I first started working from home on them, but it’s a weirdness that comes complete with an extra hour or two of sleep (or at least no hour-long commute), so I happily put up with it.

Not much else to report about that day, though, I’m afraid.
