Wednesday in the aggregate

I hear rumors that today was Wednesday, although I’d like to see some proof of that from somebody who isn’t in Big Calendar’s deep pockets.

It was a pretty average day in the aggregate. I think I’m still slowly getting accustomed to being back, but a few weeks later and I still miss being on vacation.

Such a day as this

Today was almost certainly a Tuesday, unless I have something mixed up somewhere. Your mileage* may vary.

* Kilometrage? Honestly, it seems weird that mileage should be the word used in metric. Then again, I saw several instances of “pounds” being used for weight when I was in Canada, so even metric isn’t necessarily used consistently.

Dense Fog Advisory — live in concert!

This morning, until 9 am, there was a Dense Fog Advisory in effect — which, honestly, sounds like a bad super group from the 1970s. I woke up around six, looked out the window, and it was actually too thick to see much of anything. I half expected to see pirate ghosts at any moment. Of course, I went back to sleep for a little then, and the fog had mostly burned off by the time I actually went to work.

That’s about it, really: a briefly foggy — and then much too hot, for late September anyway — Monday.
